Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-02 · Last updated October 2, 2026
In short: Vershinia helps you prepare for your job search. Your content stays yours. Only add what's true about you, use Vershinia for preparation (never during a real test or interview), and remember that its suggestions can be wrong — the final word is always yours.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Vershinia ("we", "us") about using vershinia.com, its apps and its browser extension (the "Service"). By creating an account, running a free resume check or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Vershinia
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. You may use the Service only where doing so is lawful for you.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your password safe and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it, sell it, or create accounts by automated means.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account, including through a browser you've connected to it.
4. The Service and plans
Vershinia lets you save and analyze job postings, build a profile of your experience, check and tailor resumes, track applications and prepare for interviews. Free and paid plans have limits (for example, how many analyses you can run); the current limits are shown in the Service. Features may change as Vershinia grows.
5. Your content
- Everything you add — resumes, profile facts, notes, saved postings and what Vershinia creates from them for you — remains yours.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We don't use it to train models and we don't sell it.
- You confirm that you have the right to add what you add. Job postings you save are for your personal job search.
6. Be truthful
Vershinia builds resumes only from facts you put in your profile. You're responsible for making sure those facts are true and for everything you send to employers. Don't use Vershinia to create false or misleading claims about your experience, education or identity.
7. Suggestions, not guarantees
Analyses, match results, resume suggestions and interview preparation are produced automatically by language models and other tools. They can be incomplete or wrong. They are not career, legal or financial advice, and we can't promise any particular result — such as an interview or a job offer. Review everything before you use it.
8. Practice only
Interview and test preparation in Vershinia is for practice. Don't use the Service to get help during a real interview, assessment or test, or in any way that breaks an employer's or test provider's rules.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- upload other people's personal information without their permission, or content that is harmful or abusive;
- try to get around plan limits, security checks or access controls, or access other users' information;
- use bots, scrapers or automated means to use the Service (other than our own browser extension), or overload it;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- upload malicious code or interfere with how the Service works.
10. Free resume check without an account
You can check a resume without creating an account, within daily limits. The resume and its results are deleted automatically within 24 hours unless you create an account and choose to keep them. The same rules apply as for everything else in the Service.
11. Browser extension
The Vershinia extension saves job postings from pages you choose into your workspace. It reads a page only when you click it. Use it only on pages you're allowed to view, and only for your personal job search.
12. Payments
When paid plans are offered, the price, what's included and how cancellation and refunds work will be shown before you buy, and payments are processed by Stripe. Special plans (such as a Founding member plan) are described when they're offered.
13. Our property
The Service itself — its software, design, text, templates and the Vershinia name and logo — belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; they don't give you any ownership of it.
14. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Vershinia without owing you anything for them.
15. Other websites and services
Job postings and links may lead to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
16. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vershinia available and your information safe, but the Service may sometimes be unavailable, change or lose features. We may update the Service at any time.
17. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Vershinia and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk; where reasonable, we'll tell you first. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 7, 18, 19, 20 and 21) survive.
18. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
19. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, income or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 Canadian dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be limited.
20. Indemnity
If you use the Service in breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs this causes us, including claims by others.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
22. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with its date, and for changes that matter we'll ask you to accept them before you continue using the Service.
